Established in 2008, Afritrek Logistics is a dynamic, new age, market leading distribution company. Our impressive growth during the current trying economic times is testament to the market leading service levels we offer our ever increasing client base. In an industry bedeviled by labour disputes, bad business practice and questionable ethics, we believe we have shown that 'even a transporter' can be successful by sticking to an ethical, customer first based business strategy.
Since our humble beginnings in 2008, when we launched this journey with big dreams and only two bakkies, Afritrek Logistics has built a countrywide infrastructure capable of providing a market leading service to 'any size client'. The reality is we are able to do this while still operating with a 'good old small business mentality' - so sorely lacking in much of the corporate market today - which we believe sets us apart from the rest.
The members, Chris Jones and Basil Dardagan, were the drivers of those first two bakkies and remain as involved with the day-to-day running of the business now as they were back then. There is no client too big for our infrastructure to handle and no client too small to enjoy our unique customer service levels.
Our success to date is due mainly to the excellent relationship we have with 'our staff' who form the core of our business and deal with clients 'face to face' on a daily basis. We believe our staff value their jobs due to how they are treated and that they take that positive attitude with them wherever they go in the market place.
